Are e-Cigarettes safe?

Electronic cigarettes expose the lungs to toxicity, reduce the effectiveness of the immune system and encourage superbug growth.
“Smokers using an e-cigarette are risking their airways and immune system,” said Doctor Kin Lee. “They are also enhancing the conditions for colonising bacteria, including some deadly strains.”
When mice were infected with normal methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), an antibiotic-resistant ‘superbug,’ they survived; but 25 percent of mice that were infected with MRSA after being exposed to e-cigarette vap
or died.
What this means is superbugs like MRSA become stronger when exposed to e-cigarette vapour.
“While it is not yet clear exactly which lung and other diseases will occur after inhaling e-cigarette vapor, there is no doubt acute toxicities and inflammatory changes will result within a relatively short period.”
In America, Brittan and Australia, teens are smoking e-cigarettes because they’re trendy while older smokers are turning to them in an attempt to give up smoking.
Are e-cigarettes a safe alternative to traditional cigarettes? No.
