Zero Tolerance Policy

At Wishing Well Clinic, we prioritise the safety and well-being of our staff and patients.

Any form of abusive or violent behaviour towards our doctors, practice staff, or fellow patients is strictly prohibited. We uphold a ZERO TOLERANCE stance against verbal aggression, physical violence, yelling, or any conduct that compromises the safety and dignity of our team.

Our doctors and staff have the right to provide care without fear of harassment or harm. To ensure effective service delivery, mutual respect between staff and patients is essential. Dealing with aggressive behaviour diverts our attention from providing quality care to those in need. Therefore, it is imperative that all interactions are conducted with courtesy and understanding.

While we acknowledge that illness may affect behaviour, any form of aggression will not be tolerated. Individuals displaying such behaviour will be asked to leave the premises and may be advised to seek care elsewhere. In severe cases, involving the refusal to depart, the police may be contacted. We reserve the right to refuse treatment and take further action against those who jeopardise the safety of our staff and patients.

To maintain a harmonious environment, we kindly request all patients to familiarise themselves with behaviours deemed unacceptable, including but not limited to:

  • Making persistent or unrealistic demands that cause undue stress to our staff.
  • Using offensive language or engaging in verbal abuse towards our team.
  • Resorting to physical violence against any member of our staff or fellow patients.
  • Racial abuse or sexual harassment will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
  • Damaging or stealing from clinic property, staff, or patients.
  • Attempting to obtain drugs or medical services through fraudulent means.

In conclusion, we urge everyone to treat our doctors and staff with courtesy and respect at all times. Together, we can ensure a safe and supportive environment for everyone in our care.
